As a nominated contact for a customer of SmartData UK Ltd, we store and process the following personal information:

We use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
SmartData will not collect any personally-identifiable information about you (e.g. name, address, e-mail address) without you expressly agreeing to provide it to us or submitting it to us via the contact us form. We will ask permission to collect information if you sign up for any of our newsletters or online demonstrations so we can send you the information you have requested or other news items that you may be interested in. How long will we keep your information?
We’ll keep your information for as long as you have a relationship with us. After it ends we’ll keep it where we may need it for our legitimate purposes e.g. to help us respond to queries or complaints, or for other reasons e.g. fighting fraud and financial crime and responding to requests from regulators, such as HMRC for accounting purposes. We securely delete personal information as soon as requested by the customer.
